The programme is geared to adults who need to learn Italian quickly and intensively and in particular to students of the North American College, who come to Italy to attend University. The programme is also open to students of other colleges , institutions and to private students.

The courses will be taught by qualified teachers who combine their Italian background and teaching experience with a thorough acquaintance with the other foreign  cultures.

The language programme will run all year round, and upon request all year round with courses of five, four, or three weeks. The format of each course will be that of private tutoring, and it will never have more than two students. Deadline for application is 30 days before the beginning of the courses.

Some leasure activities will be added to the program this coming summer,too. For example, visits to local places of interest will be organized by Il Chiostro with Italian speaking guides.

The school will provide assistance to the students who are interested in obtaining a language Certificate from the “Università per Stranieri “ in Perugia or in Siena.

The Certification is a document issued by an accredited language school, after students have taken a test geared to six levels, from elementary to advanced. It is a kind of equivalence certificate granted to courses taken privately. The Certification is entirely voluntary and involves payment of a fee. It is recognized internationally both at the business and at the academic levels.
